Turn Studying Into a Game.
Make flashcards from your notes, on your phone or with AI, then test yourself one timed card at a time. AxieFlash turns a study session into a round you want to win.
- Create study cards from your own notes, photos and files
- Practice through timed, game-style rounds
- Look back on past rounds, and grow your XP, badges and streak
Hi, I'm Axie!
Notes in, game on.
Three steps from your notes to a round of cards.
Create your cards
Type or paste your notes, take a photo, pick one from your gallery, or load a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file. The text in photos and files is read on your phone. Cards are made on the phone, or by Cloud AI with Premium.
Choose your challenge
Study the cards you just made, play a five-question Game Mode round on a subject, or take on Axie Run, a 100-card challenge for Premium.
Learn and improve
Answer one card at a time, with 30 seconds each and instant feedback. Finished rounds go to your Library, where Card Replay shows them again. Your Profile keeps your XP, badges and streak.
What's in the app
Everything here is built and in the beta app today. The badges show which plan each feature belongs to once AxieFlash launches.
Cards from your notes
Typed or pasted text, photos, the camera, and PDF, Word or PowerPoint files. The app reads them on your phone and builds cards with fixed rules, without the internet.
Cloud AI cards
With Cloud AI on, and only after you agree, the text of your notes goes to our AI provider, which writes 5 to 20 questions. Notes need at least 50 words. AI can make mistakes, so check important answers.
Game Mode
Five-question rounds on Math, Science, History, Language, Computer & Tech or General, from a question bank built into the app. Premium can have Cloud AI write the round.
Axie Run
100 cards in five stages of 20. The first three stages are gates that need all 20 right, and the last stage is the Final Run. It costs 20 cards to start.
Library, XP and badges
Past rounds stay in your Library, where Card Replay shows them again. Your Profile shows your XP, badges and streak. These are kept on your phone.
Cards to play with
Playing a card costs one from your balance. New accounts start with 60, and 5 more come back every 24 hours (20 with Premium), up to 600. Perfect rounds win cards back.
Three ways to play
Every mode works the same way: one card at a time, 30 seconds each, with Axie reacting to every answer.
Study
Play the cards made from your own notes. Each card you play costs one card from your balance.
Game Mode
Pick a subject and play a five-question round. A perfect round wins 2 cards back.
Axie Run Premium
- Pick a subject or a Mixed Challenge. Starting a run costs 20 cards, once.
- Stages 1 to 3 are gates: get all 20 cards right to pass.
- Missed a gate? Pay 2 cards to revive and carry on.
- A perfect run wins 100 cards, or 50 after a revive.
Read the card
A question and its choices, with a 30-second timer.
Answer fast
Instant feedback: you see straight away whether you were right.
See your results
Your score and best streak at the end, then the round goes to your Library.

- Ask to join. Email axieflashdeveloper@gmail.com. The team adds your Gmail so Google sign-in works for you. You can install the app first, but signing in only works after that.
- Download and install the app. Your phone asks you to allow installing apps from your browser; allow it for this install. Google Play Protect may warn that the app comes from an unknown developer, which is expected for an app that isn't on Google Play yet. When the app first opens, read and agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Sign in with Google in the app, then request beta access.
- Enter your code. Once the team approves you, you get a one-time code that works for 10 minutes; you can ask for a new one. Your 7 days and 200 cards start when you enter it.
Already testing? Sign-in happens in the app, with Google. There's no account to sign in to on this website.
Questions, answered
What is AxieFlash?
A flashcard game for students on Android. You turn your notes into cards, then play them one at a time against a 30-second timer, with Axie the axolotl reacting to every answer.
How does AI-powered flashcard generation work?
Cloud AI is part of Premium (and of the beta). When it's on and you've agreed, the app sends the text of your notes to our AI provider, DeepSeek, which writes 5 to 20 multiple-choice questions. The server checks the cards' format before you get them, but AI can still make mistakes, so check important answers against your own sources. Without Cloud AI, the app makes cards on your phone using fixed rules.
Which input formats are supported?
Typed or pasted text, a photo from your gallery, a camera shot, and PDF, Word (.doc, .docx) and PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) files. Text is read from photos and files on your phone; the files themselves aren't uploaded.
Is AxieFlash free?
The beta is free for approved testers. At launch there will be a free plan, without Cloud AI and Axie Run, and a paid Premium plan. Premium isn't on sale yet.
Do I need an account?
The app makes an account for your phone automatically the first time it opens; no email is needed for that. Signing in with Google keeps your cards and Premium if you change phones, and it's required to join the beta. There are no website accounts.
What are the available game modes?
Study (your own cards), Game Mode (five-question rounds on a subject) and Axie Run (a 100-card challenge with three gates, for Premium). See Game Modes.
What is Axie Run?
A 100-card challenge in five stages of 20. It costs 20 cards to start. Stages 1 to 3 are gates where every card must be right; a missed gate can be revived for 2 cards. Stage 5 is the Final Run. A perfect run wins 100 cards, or 50 after a revive.
How does card regeneration work?
Every card you play costs one card from your balance. New accounts start with 60 cards. Every 24 hours, 5 cards are added (20 with Premium), up to a maximum of 600. A perfect Game Mode round wins 2 cards. During the beta, you play from a separate 200-card beta allowance, which doesn't refill.
How does beta access work?
The team invites testers. You sign in with Google in the beta app and request access; when the team approves, you get a one-time code that works for 10 minutes. Entering it starts 7 days of Premium-level access with 200 beta cards. The team can pause access, and when the 7 days end the app locks. See How to join the beta.
Are premium purchases available?
No. Premium and card top-ups are shown in the app as coming soon, and there's no way to pay. When purchases arrive they will go through Google Play, and the Refund Policy and Terms will be updated first.
What happens to my information when I use AI features?
Only with Cloud AI on and your agreement, the text of your notes goes to DeepSeek to write your cards. We don't store your notes or the cards' text on our server, only a record of the request (such as the notes' length, how many cards came back, and the cost). Game Mode and Axie Run send only the subject you picked. You can withdraw your agreement in the app at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How can I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, Settings, Delete account. You're signed out straight away and the account is deleted from our server 24 hours later. You can also delete just your personal data and keep your account. See Data Retention & Account Deletion.
How can I contact support?
Email axieflashdeveloper@gmail.com.
